Fanksgiving.

I haven't posted anything in a little while, my bad! Today is thanksgiving. I've actually transformed into a whale. But I guess that's what the day is for. It always makes me a bit depressed, seeing as though my family dynamic is a little fucked up-but now a days, whose isn't?
Things to be Thankful for:

•Friends that have been real when I always haven't been, y'all know who you are.
•Mommy and Daddy.

•The earth for not blowing up just yet.

I will never get enough of this song...Along with Radiohead. This video is pretty wild too.No cameras or lights were used. Instead, 3D plotting technologies collected information about the shapes and relative distances of objects. The video was created entirely with visualizations of that data.

Precious.

I saw the newly released movie, "Precious", with my mom the other night. I walked out of the movie speechless, literally with not much to say. It was indeed very powerful, filmed incredibly, and the acting was great. As far as what happens to Precious is beyond me. I really hope it wasn't based on a true story. I also couldn't pinpoint whether this was just a movie filled with horrible stereotypes/racial remarks. Not many of my friends wanted to see it-but i think they should. It was a wake-up call for me, and I'm sure many other people.

This is a photo of me and one of my best friends Milah. My friend Jordy/JFresh took it last winter. I've always loved it so much, but I've never done anything with it, meaning printed it out, made it a profile photo, etc. I guess i'll use it now :] keep up with your photography Jordy, you're mad good! New to this...

Hello. I've been wanting to create one of these blogs for a while now, but never found the time to do it. I'm so sick of facebook, and i've realized i mainly use it for the photos from the weekend, events, etc. I've also found that it wastes an incredible amount of time. This could easily take away time from doing other things, but i think it's a lot more personal than a silly facebook page. I'm really into photography, and will be posting photos quite often, as well as stuff from the day/week/etc.
